NOT back up lights........... I apologize to everyone for having a "senior moment". The lights I have listed for sale are PARKING LIGHTS, not back up lights. I DO know the difference! I do, however, have new Ford packaged lenses for back up lights (1964 and1965) for anyone needing or wanting...

    remanufactured engine?

I don't think the valves would be leaking. I would suspect the valve seals.

transmission leak off of shifter seal

Sounds like you have a leak at the manual shaft seal, Which is an "O" ring. Actually two "O" rings since the kick down lever is inside the manual shaft. I have replaced these seals in the past; the biggest problem is getting the detent pin and spring back into place. My recommendation is to...

65 rear suspension and leaf springs

^^ sits too low I'd say new rear springs or load-leveler shocks. New springs would be best.

    seat belt timer

I would say "left side of the steering wheel". It's actually mounted on the lower edge of the dash panel; held in place by only one screw. The electrical plug has the two slots for the two switch blades in a "T" formation.

    Vacuum check valve

Vacuum Check Valve The Ford part number for the vacuum check valve is C6OZ-19A563-A. It does not look like the original. (May be available from your Ford dealer.) Concerning the vacuum can behind the RH headlight: if there was one previously installed, you should see three holes beside the...

65 rear suspension and leaf springs

Anti-squeak pads These pads are installed between the leaves of the spring and they fit into a depression on the lower of the two leaves (I think).

    66 won't start when warm

I believe what you are seeing is a fusable link; installed there to burn in two before major damage is caused by an electrical overload. I think it is shown in Fig.6 page 22-10 (1966 shop manual) and only identified as "FUSE ASSY". [Shown between ignition switch and 60-AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER]...
