turn signal flasher fuse?

Where is the fuse or breaker that is upstream from the flasher? There is no power to the flasher, but everything else seems to work.
The flasher works when I hot wire it. Car is a 1955, stock except '56 harness and 12v.]

There are some wiring diagrams for a 56 here:

The section for the turn signal flasher shows an in-line fuse.

Unfortunately my Casco-sourced '56 harness does not have that fuse. I think I will just run a little wire over from the clock, WITH a fuse.

Wire size for amp chart here. Use the chassis size, not the power transmission size.
