Steering Wheels ?

I seen a couple 66 conv. with wood grain wheels. My 66 conv. has a black wheel. What dictated which wheel went in these cars or did someone install the woodgrain after?

I would think that Landau models had a wood grain steering wheel.

Thats what i thought, Landaus. They Didn't have a Landau conv. Did they? So i guess someone added the wood grain on these conv..

In 1966 , the Special Landau was the only model with Simulated wood grain trim on the steering wheel, floor console, instrument panel, door panels, and overhead console.

In 1966, all Landaus had woodgrain trim. There was not a "Special Landau" as there was in 1965.
