my 66 tbird seatbelt light will not go off i here there is a relay know were to get one

You may (or may not) have a "relay". Later 66's have a delay switch attached under the lower lip of the dash that is supposed to extinguish the light after 10 seconds. It is attached to a sheet metal "brace" near the lower edge about under the point where the two lower panels butt together. It has a plug with two wires in it. Early 66's have the switch in the driver's seat belt retractor. Pull out the belt, the light goes off. In 64's the light was turned off by pressing the seat belt warning light lens.

Once again some good timely advice from Harley!
I am just about to replace the driver-side fixed section of belt (Latch does not work) and then look into the seat-belt light situation.

Perry, I searched for a new relay. Could not find one. I have a used one that works. Just tried it to be sure. Turned the light off after 10 seconds. If interested, contact me by email through the Forum. (Forum has informed me you do not wish to recieve emails from members.)
