Rare Option

I recently bought a Guage Cluster for my 1969 Thunderbird 4 Door Landau........I bought it as a Backup, should any of the Guages quit working, but also because of an unusual Guage in the Cluster..........I have owned (2) 1968 Thunderbirds previously, and am fairly familiar with the Glamour Birds, but this was something I had never seen before, or since.........One of the Guages in the Cluster was a tachometer??!!.........I never knew such an option was offered, and checking on the Internet has been no help..........I have found out absolutely no mention of it anywhere..........Could someone Please Help!!...........Thanks in advance........Sonny J. I've been looking for one of those for my 67, it takes the place of the clock, correct?
I have only heard rumors that a factory tach was option available on the later Glamor-gals but I've never seen one with my eyes. Can you post a pic? I have been looking for a suitable tach to replace my clock and just live with the idea that it would be after market, your post gives me hope.
