What's everyone do in their free time? Any interesting hobbies?

I picked up a crossbow and have been practicing with it to get ready for deer season next year. I need a new scope, but it's a Barnett XP370 so should do the job.

I'm also into foraging. I like being able to live off the land (hence the hunting) so I've been reading up on edible plants in my area and familiarizing myself with the seasons to use them. It's been fascinating. I've moved into medicinal herbs, but there aren't many region-specific resources for those, so I'm just going through book after book to figure it out.

What do you guys do for fun?

I might have just found a new hobby. The rubber moveable steering column stops (bumpers) on the 64-66 Thunderbird cannot be found except for old ones that can't be removed from the threaded bolt lest they break. One of mine broke when cleaning the slider mechanism, one didn't, it was still a bit pliable. So, after searching for a new replacement unsuccessfully, I did something I'd been considering for years; make my own soft parts. I obtained some platinum cure silicone and impact resistant liquid urethane from a Smooth-On distributor, made two molds of my good bumper out of silicone, and then made two new black urethane bumpers. I might make more if there is a damand for them. I'll install them today and keep my old one for a model.
