I am restoring my 1964 Thunderbird convertible. Virtually everything on the car is original and starting to or has worn out. I have a number of bulbs in the taillights that need to be replaced. In order to do that of course I need to break them out of the assembly. I'm worried if I crack the housing, I will need to replace it, but I can't seem to find anyone who sells this kit with the exception of Ebay. Does anyone have an idea about where I might purchase a replacement taillight housing? Thanks.

I will vouch for Bird Nest in West Linn, OR (tbirdparts.com). The online catalog shows most of the new parts that have been reproduced by them or other vendors. You must call them to find what used parts they have. I have scoured their used parts shelves many times the last twenty years working on my Thunderbirds.

I will wholeheartedly agree. I have bought many parts from Bird Nest and Fred is very knowledgeable and a great guy. Shipping is prompt.
