junction box

just got my 66 bird back from rebuilder and he noticed that next to battery on the fender wall there is a junction box with two plug wires comming off main loom.looks like whoever had car before put a jumper cable on it.what is part called and is there a breaker or fuse in box?called larry's t bird parts and the guy couldn't help me:cry

Junction block

I believe you are referring to the fusable link in the Thunderbird. This link should burn in two before your electrical system gets fried. It is a smaller wire. Do not know what gauge wire. Ford may still sell the fuse link.
