I am new to the forum and am seeking information...

A very restorable 1959 hardtop has become available. It is a rare J code. Also, a separate engine is available. The numbers match with the engine currently installed. It appears to be loaded.

Can anyone offer advice to what to pay?

Time to get an Appraaser in your area for current value and condition of all the systems on the car ( Brakes, suspension , engine etc. etc. ) . Look particularily at the frame under the Driver's Door and Passenger's Door for rust thru.
