I broke down and bought a pair of new headlights after my orginal ones became yellow and cracked.

I need help on how to install the new ones, how do the clips that hold the light on work? thanks!!

Easiest way to remove the old clips is to slide a screwdriver under the lip of the top ones and pry them out-usually you have to do a little bit of cutting with a pair of diagonal cutters to get the lower ones out.

Replace the clips with new ones-$1.89 per pair at Advance or AutoZone in the MTM aisle-you'll need three pair.

Thanks! Guess my question wasn't clear as I bought the whole housing and can't figure how to take the headlight housing out. Its held on by plastic clips on a screw, then another plastic clip on the headlight housing.

Do these screw out or pull off? Thanks!

You should have three metal clips that hold the housing to the header panel-you have to remove those to get the housing off the car.

Do NOT pull those screws out-if damaged they are not replaceable! They are the headlamp adjusting screws.

NOTE:
Use snap-ring pliers to spread retainers, then pull straight upward to disengage.

1. Remove three metal headlamp mounting clips (13N129), attaching headlamp (13008) to grille opening panel, from the rear of panel.

2. Remove headlamp from vehicle and remove headlamp bulb and retainers (13N021).

3. To install, reverse Removal procedure.

Thanks!! This worked great. Now to get the lights alligned. Any suggestions to get to the lower bolt without removing the housing? I think it will be impossible to get a ratchet to the lower screw to adjust, maybe i'll pickup a 5/32 wrench.

Anyway the new lights look great, I didn't realize how yellow the other ones were.

If you are trying to get the most light from your headlights, without upgrading the wires and switch, then give the sylvania silverstars, or XV bulbs a try.
