flidkering headlights on 93 bird

Have replaced the pull switch now 3 times, and the multi-function switch
I also checked the grounds and fuse block and harness plug at the
firewall. the headlght switch still gets too hot ( the plug was replaced
also - partially melted) was there any other way to fix the headlight
flickering problem on the 93 bird???

The headlight problem is an open recall-visit TCCoA and print a copy of that particular recall, then take it and the car down to a Ford dealer in your area.

Sounds like that problem was not dealt with by the previous owner.

thanks for your response, the vehicle did go thur the
recall, the repairs were done previous and I got a
refund but the problem still exists

The only other thing I can think of is that you have a short in the system that is causing the heating issue.

When you replaced the MF switch, was there any melting around the plugs? I had that-once I installed a new plug, I had no further problems.
