Hello everybody. I have a '65 Special Landau and recently acquired a dash placque showing the original owner's name and the production number of the car. The problem is, I don't know where on the dash it goes. Does anybody have an idea? Thanks for your help... Mike

I beleive it goes an inch or so above the radio on the brushed aluminum panel. At least that is where the one was on my grandfathers 64. Of course that may be a dealer installed item so it could have gone just about anywhere.

Special Landau dash plaque

I don't believe there was a Special Landau in 1964. I think the plaque should be mounted above the radio . That's what William Wonder says in his book.

Thanks Harley. By the way, I received the vacuun door locks. I put one on the passenger door. Works great, but I wish I had smaller hands... Mike

No his was not a Special Landau, but still had his name engraved on a plaque above the radio. Has a bird emblem on it as well.
