I recently purchased wire wheels and new croker tires. The wheel advise you to use tubes which I did. The problem is that the tires have some sort of label inside the tire that put holes in two of my new tubes. Anyone considering Croker tires with tubes should check inside and avoid the problem that I had.

Rich,
This is a very common problem among persons using tubes in radial tires. The problem is not unique to Coker radials. Unfortunately, the tire installers do not usually inspect the inside of the new radials they are installing to make sure there are no labels inside to chafe the tubes. This is something every owner has to do himself before having the tires mounted.

Cokers and the use of tubes...

I recently purchased 4 Cokers and double checked with the supplier before having them mounted on my 55 Thunderbird WITHOUT tubes. They did not recommend the use of tubes with these tires. The car rides great!
