Brakes???

Replaced both frt brake hoses, due to age, bled the brakes repeatedly and now have nothing but a pedal to the floor. Brakes were perfect before this. I have bled brakes on our other 65s with no problems but this one has left me pulling my hair out. Any suggestions or ideas?............ :banghead

dID YOU TRY A POWER BLEEDER OR ONE OF THOSE VACUUM BLEEDERS?

Bled them manually. to begin with had no brakes. After getting fed up with it I opened all the bleeder screws picked up the frt end, filled the master cyl up and let it alone to have gravity work on it. After awhile went back to it closed all the bleeders and re bled it refilled the master and cured it. I still think there is a little air in the lines but I will redo it in a few days.

hey dan65 wish i could offer you some help, i replaced the master on mine, bench bled and bled and flushed all lines but ive always had a very soft pedal feel until it gets near bottom...did you consider adjusting the pushrod inside the brake booster? thats gonna be my next step if i ever get around to it...
ive read that if its out of adjustment it can cause poor pedal feel.. :cheers

Actually I think letting gravity work on it did better than any thing else. The car stopped perfect before but it needed the hoses replaced to pass inspection. I think the hoses are somewhere between 12-14 inches long each so I guess in the scope of things that is a fair amount of air to get back out. No the pedal is perfect like before, I do plan on putting speedbleeders on it though as 63tbirdconv suggested. I wont be adjusting the rod since I cured it this way
