I am new to the forum and very happy to be here in contact with a great group and great knowledge of TBirds.
I have a 1955 Bird that I purchased about nine months ago. The car has some issues and has experienced a great deal of modifications (butchering) through the years. I'm trying to put the car into decent shape and it's progressing OK. I am in the process of converting the car to a 12 Volt system however I am not sure of where the stock location for the ground side of the battery was located. Right now the battery ground is connected to the Steady Rest bracket which I question is right.
I have two questions: (1) Where is the ground connection point for the battery cable? (2) What books/documents are the best reference to find this information?
Thanks
