'77-'79 interior and body parts, free!

Hi folks,

I'm parting out a '77-'79 LTD II Brougham, which has the same frame and interior as the '77-'79 Thunderbirds (I have a '78 T-bird). If you're around the Uxbridge, MA area, I have a bunch of interior and body parts that I'm letting go for free. For example, there's a light chamois dash pad that's in excellent condition (uncracked), the fake wood dash trim, a dash cluster, a few working electric and quartz clocks, HVAC ducts, a front bumper, light chamois seats... If interested, feel free to ask.

I would be very intersted, but I live in Ohio! What kind of condition is the front bumper in? does it have the guards, as seen on the majority of these cars, or does it have the three smaller guards? Please let me know. If you wish, you can send me an e-mail, it is [email protected]. Thanks!

Overall, the bumper is in good condition. The chrome is complete (for lack of a better word)... i.e. no flaking and no rusting through. The bumper reinforcement is rusty but solid (then again, those reinforcements rarely rust through). The bumper has two chrome bumper guards and the three rubberized bumper protectors. I'm in the midst of touching up my Town Landau, and I wouldn't hesitate to use this bumper if I had to.

I'll have the LTD II for another month or so. Again, I'd hate to send good body parts to the junkyard, especially since I know how hard it can be to find some of these parts. I can send pictures if anyone wnts... let me know if you have more questions!

Does the LTD have the bucket seats and floor shift combination? Does the dash cluster have the tach. and stuff as well? Thanks.

Re. doors: This is a 4-door LTD II Brougham... so unfortunately they can't be swapped onto a T-bird. The only possible swap I can think of is onto a 4-door '77-'78 Mercury Cougar (the 4-door Cougar was phased out for '79). Except for the passenger-side front door, they are all in good shape. So if ya know anyone...

Re. seats: The car did not come with the floor shifter (I understand this is a hot item ). The front seats are a split bench.

Re. dash: The dash is the standard one (5 equal sized circles). The dash pad is in excellent shape (of all the interior parts, this is the one I'd hate most to go to the junkyard).
