Anyone know where I can find door panels for my 66'? The originals are a creamy beige & am looking to go white. The backboards on the original panels are too far gone to restore and dye, as is the dash but Ihave a workaround for that. Just need the pangels in white preferably.

Do you find something?

I was going to restore a '66 Landau. Bought a '66 convertible instead.
Anyway, I have 2 unopened / never out of the box interior door panels that I purshased from a guy in AZ.

Are you sure your color is white and not parchment? I have parchment panels.

dye for the door panels?

Does dye look decent when done? I have the white/off white interior on a 65 hard top and made the mistake of using too strong a cleaner. Now some very white on the inner armrest/door handle area. I was wondering about some dye or polish solution as I think it can only help at this point. Not ready to replace the whole panel. Anyone with experience and brands used, let me know.

Well I used the dye and it looks pretty good. I used the VHT vinyl dye and the duplicolor degreaser(VHT wasn't available at parts store.) Used the Satin white on the door. I saw afterwards that another company has an off-white that probably would have worked better.

The degreaser really took off most of the paint/dye on the upper portion of the door. Lower portion, which is more vinyl than plastic held the original color pretty good. Took one can for the driver door. Prep took a lot more time than paint. Looks way better than before, may not be show quality. I will see how it stands up and report back in 6 months if anyone is interested.

Do you have the panels and what would you want for them?
