Hill's Thunderbird Center in Ohio has that gravel shield (in fiber glass) and may have the air tube intake as well. They do have used parts for some items advertised in their catalogue. Google "thunderbirdcenter.com"

I checked with Hill's and they do have the metal shield at a cost of $500-$1000 depending on condition. Yeah, right. Most all of the parts suppliers have the glass ones for $250. I can get the scoop for $75 (repro). Thanks for all the info.
