Hi. It seems my master switch for my power windows crapped out or something within the system crapped out. All windows operated fine and then they would operate sporadically for a while and now nothing. The rear windows don't operate by their own switch, either. Does this have anything to do with the breaker? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

My 69 has a bypass switch so that you can operate the window when ignition is off and I found out there is a bad relay on the engine side of the firewall. The bypass switch allows it to operate, but because of the bad relay, it does not work in the normal mode.

Thanks!

Hi, Unfortunately, the 1967 Thunderbird is unique from the 1968 and 1969 and most of the components are not interchangeable which makes me believe I cannot do the same thing with my car. I believe I may have a relay so I'll see if that may be the issue. Thanks again!

Funquest....or anyone. I too have lost power to my window switch. breakers are good. I have the original manual which doesn't give me the location of the "window safety relay". It's not in the trunk or under the dash. I'm going nuts! I don't want to by-pass the switch and run battery power to the windows constantly, would like to keep the "key on works the windows" function.
Can you tell me where this damm relay is located?

Thanks in advance.

HARLEY!!! I going to name my first born after you.... Boy or girl!

I couldn't see it, it's at the back of the head below the booster, on the firewall mounted to a rubber block! Just like you said!

Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!

HARLEY EATON....THUNDERBIRD GOD!!!!

Thanks again
