I would like to change my one line power brake system over to a two line power brake system.I drive a 1964 thunderbird base model -PS/PB/AC/-390 cu in cruise o magic I'm planning to replace my whole brake system from the booster [1 line]to the wheel cylinders... Going back with a 2 line system ..Is there a parts house who offers from booster to master cyl /2 lines out to wheel cyl complete.I figured I could do it piece at a time but would prefer a whole system at one time, over piecing it out piece one at time.....
thanks for your time

Did you ever get an answer to this? I also need to replace my 1964 booster (vacuum leak) and want to upgrade to a dual circuit system.

1 line to two

I really never did get a good definitive answer...I ended up going back to one line because the previous owner had installed new stainless steel line....after all the work that has been done to my brakes was said and done I still got shi=-0=-y brakes....remanufacture booster from portland-master cylinder from Advance Auto, wheel cylinders and new hardware from Napa or advanced auto , new brake hoses and hours and hours of work and sweat...If I have to redo it from end to end I'll go to disc and be done with it ...hope you have better results than I did

Hi

I've just joined the forum and was reading your post. You can change your master cylinder over to a dual system by using one from a Ford Mustang. I think it is from a 1968 onwards. Check out the link below.

Thunderbird Ranch 64 dual master cylinder

I'm about to do mine in the next few weeks I will let you know how I go.

Cheers
