Question About Brake Lights / Turn Signal Switch

Everything was very clear, everything just plugged into the wiring harnesses. My original was pretty much unfixable too, but its a very easy swap

Question About Brake Lights / Turn Signal Switch

Hey Michael, I installed a new turn signal switch, which is in the steering column (where the turn signal lever screws in), it completely fixed all of my signalling and brake light issues, and it was a painless install.

    Narrower 64 Rear End?

I was looking at having it narrowed, and was hoping there would be something similar that was the correct width, where I would just need to weld the spring perches onto... probably no such luck though? :P

    Narrower 64 Rear End?

I was wondering first what size is the rear end in my 64? (9"?) Also, I was wondering which rear ends I would be able to swap in, to get about... 3 or 4 inches more clearance, I'm looking to fit some reverse offset rims in, with fender skirts. I'm thinking something like a Comet or Falcon...

Will these fit on my 64?

Hello, I was wondering if a set of reverse offset 14 x 7 inch Astro Supremes with a P195/70 R14 tire would fit on my 64 Thunderbird? I'm obviously not worried about the height of the rim and tire since it's smaller then factory, its the reverse offset I'm wondering about. Thanks!

Wrong Turn Signal Switch? (pics included)

I just received a turn signal switch that I ordered in for my 64 Thunderbird... but it seems like it's missing wires. The new one is missing the red, yellow and brown wires, which go to the front left and right signals, and the brown one goes to the turn signal flasher. Is there something I'm...

Thanks Harley :). That's what I figured too... I have nothing to lose anyway, might as well have at it.

Question About Brake Lights / Turn Signal Switch

I picked up a 64 TBird last month, and have narrowed down a lighting issue to what I think is the turn signal switch, but since it's a fairly expensive little plastic piece, I wanted to just verify my thoughts on this. As far as the taillights go, my driving lights work, left and right turn...

    64 Turn Signal Switch

I was wondering if anyone had a turn signal switch for a 64 Thunderbird... it seems to be a pretty hard part to come by in my area, so if anyone has one from a parts car, or just kicking around, that would be awesome. I'm in BC Canada.
