    have you had the codes checked, it might be throwing a code of some sort just disconnect your battery for about a half hour and the light should be gone, if it comes back, then have the codes pulled

    the Turbo stang tranny is about the same at the T5 from a bird as for C4 parts working, none, you need a new flywheel, clutch and all of that, i would recommend you call a local mustang restoration place, some sell kits to convert a 289 Mustang over to a T5, they might have everything youd need

    if its not the fuse, it could be the sender that senses the refigerant level, it should be mounted to the silver guy in the corner of the engine compartment, im not sure on an 84

    the ones for your front brakes and the one that goes to your rear after years theyll dry rot and get softer, and when you press the brakes, instead of pushing the calipers/wheel sylinders, they lines will baloon

    i almost forgot, youll need to change the master cylinder to hold more fluid the dick brakes require

    check your rubber brake lines, they could be expanding under pressure the mustang brakes are a worthwile improvement, you got i think 30% more braking area under the pads or soemthing like that, you dont need to change the booster

    you will need to do a little playing with brake lines too depending on the rear, youll get 3.55's or 3.73's, the auto's had 3.73's and 5-speeds have 3.55's

    as far as i know, no it wont, youd have to get a 5.0 bellhousing and all that good stuff i dont think the TC tranny will hold up to the torque a 289 has, the 2.3 had next to no torque

    have you changed the fuel filter? even if its clogged, fuel can get through, but it wont run properly i dont know how, but you could remove the injectors and swap em for some at the junkyard to see, usually thoe are free via the pocket
