Fuse box terminals? What EXACTLY are you searching for? The prongs inside the fuse box that hold the fuses?

My guess is that you don't have a shop manual... If you do not, you should get one.

What kind of number would you expect to find or be looking for after you pull the starter? Could we see a photo or could you give more of a description of the engine?

Lift the pan up in the reverse order that you took it down. Was the cross member in the way when you took it down? The manual is telling you the correct way to do it..

It is not necessary to remove the engine. There are tools you can buy to install engine core plugs. Have you looked under the car to see if you can drive it in without special tools? I've changed many without removing the engine. They even make a core plug you put in the hole and use a...

It looks to me like the top has been modified. In your picture, it looks like part of the top is black and part red. Is there a seam or some trim piece between the black and red? The four inch stainless piece does not look original Ford.

I would suspect the end play in the armature shaft is too much. Years ago, I had this problem and installed a electrical cut off switch to stop the action before the window got to the very top. I think you are slamming the window up and that causes it to jam.

Cant you open the luggage compartment with the handle in the glove box?

The filler tube is held in place by four screws through a flange near the top end. Look for it!
