I recently acquired a 57. I have noticed in my internet browsings, some have a fairly plain hubcap, some have fake wire wheel looking hubcaps, and some are sporting the real deal wire wheels. What options were available in 57? Is what I am seeing owner modifications? Is there a website (maybe by Ford) that would spell out the differences and options? Thank tou.

'57 Wheel Covers
I have a '57 with wheel covers, but the paint on the covers needs a refresh. The wheels are totally sound physically, but the black paint (turbine-like shadows) and the white paint (around the "Ford" letters) are not right. Does anyone know if there is a template or mask available to repaint these, or is it just a tedious session hand-painting all four wheels to restore them?
