Another thing that I am pissed off about...

the Hella glass covers on my foglights! The cracks aren't that obvious, I just hate losing bulbs when it rains. OK so thats only happened once. But, the only replacement I found was this:
http://www.mustangsvo.org/products/

And I ordered it at the end of August, beginning of September, and they haven't even shipped yet. Funny, see where the webpage says "ready for immediate shipment"??? Their excuse: "oh, we meant the Marchals - the Hella covers are on special order and will ship in 1-2 weeks". - That was 2 weeks ago.

So, if you have a 84-86 with Marchals like the SVO has, enjoy. You can probably order now and get them before me!

I got a set of the Hella lights for my 87 for $28.06 each. The lights are not just a lens. It consists of a lens(glass) boded to a metal reflector. This is held into the body by two plastic peices having one screw each.
They do not come with bulbs though. It is no biggie to get the bulbs since they are just H3 bulbs you can get at any parts store.
I was really happy with the service on these lights. they fit and look like the oem lights (because they are oem)and work well. http://www.susquehanna.com/susq
Hope this helps.

Bring an 87 TC back from the dead!

I had similar problems with my stock fog lamps. The Hellas were allright, but once the lenses got dirty and started leaking I said forget it. I found a great kit that bolts right up to the stock mounts put out by Federal Mogul. I also cut the wire harnesses off of the Hellas and wired them up to the new ones so the new ones plug right into the stock wires. The job takes about an hour and looks fantastic. The lights are the rectangular "Diamond Blue" by Blazer. Check them out on the web here:
