looking to fix the shift lever problem of dropping out of park (gona hurt someobdy). I seen a couple of posts that reply to this issue, even one that suggested a $35 fix, but no details. any help would be appreciated. TIA

Dropping out of the PARK position is caused by a worn shift lever or worn detent. I have never seen a worn detent, but plenty of worn shift levers. The shift lever can easily be replaced or repaired. If you remove the shift lever, you will see where it is worn.
