Nifty segment. I loved watching them restore that old bird. Would have loved to see it bring in more $$. It goes to show that you should avoid mixing emotions with business decisions.

There were a lot of cool old Tbird commercials played during the show.

Yes there were definatley some cool commercials. I thought it was cool learn about the model car replics sold with the cars. It makes me.wonder where is the one that came with my car?
 
I have a few of the promos for my car(65). I have one for a 70 I had also. There is also a promo that is a am radio. My car is blue and 3 of my promo's are blue. I had bought a maroon one, this is the easiest found color, and when I had my Special Landau I sprayed it emberglo when I painted the car. From what I have heard the black colored ones are the hardest to find.
 
Nice looking car, worth more then it went for. As Mike Joy might say "it was well bought". The engine was wrong, it should have had gold valve covers and air cleaner with the engine being painter semi gloss black. 66 was the first year for Ford Blue.
