need help about swaping the 3.8 engine

I got a 93 3.8 t-bird, and i want to put in a 96 3.8 engine cause I know those arent having head gasket troubles like 93-95's. Can this swap be done? Are these 2 different year engines the same? What kind of problems would I encounter if i did this. I was thinking of doing to www.stangparts.com cause they have the 96 3.8 engine complete from intake to oil
pan for $650. I could swap my front accesories onto this new engine and be ready to rock from the way I see it. any help would be appreciated.
