Led lights

I have a '55 Bird with the original 6-volt system, which I want to keep because it works great. However, I want to upgrade the filament lamps to LED lights. Has anyone had experience with the 6-volt LED lamps offered by HighSpeed Motors online? Their LEDs come with the little pegs on the stem like on regular filament bulbs. Or, has anyone a suggestion for wiring a 12-volt LED so that it will burn efficiently on my 6-volt system? The 12-volt LEDs also have the same kind of pegs as on their 6-volt LEDs, so re-engineering the light unit isn't an issue.

What you are looking for is at "classictbird.com" under "new items". If you scroll down through the items they list, you'll find an entire LED system for your 55, including new bulbs, flasher, etc.. Its legal and a direct remove and replace for a 6 volt system, enabling everything to be returned to stock if necessary. Good Luck!
