Getting along the road at 39 f coming out of dashboad output duct to interior air flow from air conditioner unit....then 6 minutes later humid hot air coming at me! Solution was clamp off (both in and out hoses ) with flat wood sticks and "c"clamps so no hot water would get by" suspected temp flow valve" located at heater core SEE SERVICE MANUAL FOR EXACT LOCATION at end of bowden cable from the center console slider cable area.yep nice and cold again,...this valve is a piece of !@#$%^&*()_+ and so your local t bird internet site supplier for $65.00 has the part that replaces the leaking one and it is in an easy kit install OR JUST LEAVE HOSE CLAMPS IN PLACE and don"t worry about winter coming!!this bird owner clamped only hose from water pump to heater core and still had humid air in his interior..((because of course anti freeze was still able to flow thru inner hose from output from heater core to carb base hose thru circulation within the loop of liquid passing inside that output hose thru heat core at output area causeing heat for system when air cond. was called for. simple physics!!
