Glove Box Lock - 57 Bird

My 1957 TBird's glove box door will not stay closed. It would appear that the lock catch that drops down from the dash or slides when I turn the glove box key is missing. I turn the key and nothing comes down to hold the door closed. I have looked at a couple of catalogs and made a couple of calls, but no one seems to know what that part is, or if it a part of the entire key assembly. Can anyone enlighten me, and give me some idea as to where to look for the part once I find out what the part actually is?

I just checked the two catalogues that I have from different suppliers for small birds, and there are no parts listed for the glove box latching at all.

I would wonder if you were to check the online catalogues for 55 - 57 full size fords, if they would use the same lock assemblies and be available? Good Luck.
