Where can I get the parts to retrofit an electronic ignition, and fuel injection?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to re-do the (for lack of a better term) "center area". Right now its a wood trim, but it is decaying and i've seen metal one's and haven't quite decided whether or not to put a super thin real wood overlay with a finish on it of not. Any information would be appreciated.

F.Y.I., I have a 63' hardtop 390.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

As far as ignition goes, I just swapped out the whole oem for a complete MSD system http://www.msdignition.com/ distributor PN MSD-8594, 6A (or 6AL) ignition module mounted next to battery PN MSD-6200 (or MSD-6420), Blaster 2 coil PN MSD-8202, and custom wire set MSD-31389.
It'll cost you about $500 allsaidandone, but you'll probably never need another one. :D

I've never seen a wood trim center console...most are the anodized aluminum.
There are a few TBird used parts suppliers around...I'll try to remember and post some links in a followup. Never seen any reproductions of aluminum trim...try Cuba! (wow...just saw documentary about Classic American cars of Cuba on PBS...wow!)

I understand you are saying you have a 1963 Hardtop with woodgrain dash and console. That would not be correct per FoMoCo. Only the Landaus came from the factory with the woodgrain. Landaus would have the landau scroll emblem on the sides of the roof. Hardtops have the winged bird emblem. Do you have woodgrain on the door panels? I'm sure you can find replacement non-woodgrain panels if that's what you want.
