The horn on my 65 special landau has not worked since I have had the car. The other day the horn blew for no reason after starting the car. Later, on Memorial Day, the horn wnet off several times while I was passing a cemetery! I propmtly unhooked the horns. Later, after filling up, I needed a jump to start the car. Car has been storage on battery tender. Any ideas were I sgould start? I have to think that the horn business and the drained battery are related. Thanks
Scott

I'd start in the column. Pull the steering wheel so you can see the turn signal switch and horn button/brush. The wire powering the horn could be broken and shorting out intermittently. (If you don't have a wiring diagram for your car, now is the time to get one.)

I suspect that the battery drain is a separate issue, as the horn circuit is either on or off.

OK thanks Steve. The starting issue may have been the battery. I'll check my records - the battery may be older than I am thinking.
