Hi there!
I have a 1968 2 door. This car has only 53,000 original miles. I have had consistent problems with my passenger window. I have put in my 4th motor. (The others were rebuilt> the last one from Hilltop Classics is allegedly "new").
We check the motor, we check the switches we check the wires. We made sure the dual master and the passenger switch was ok.
The last motor was essentially a "new" motor ( I am not sure what was new> going to find out) This motor worked for 2 weeks then stopped (like the others) which were basically refurbished with new brushes and cleaning the contacts. All the other windows work just fine. I am reasonably sure that the problem is not in the switches. (PS in the past when we powered the other motors direct, they would work) Now powering the motor results in a faint click but no function.
Any thoughts any body? Very exasperating ok to email me direct [email protected]
