We are nearly done! 1957 Convertible with Continental Kit.
The driver's seat has an electric adjust. We received our re-worked motor and gearing from Concours. They say the "clocking" device and seat need to be "sinked" otherwise the motor will burn out trying to adjust the seat....that's how we found it...burned out and don't wish to repeat the mistake. The screw shaft needs to be fastened to the seat bracket in such a way that the screw has play at each end to keep the motor from running once the screw device has reached minimum or optimum position.
Does anyone know how to sink the seat mechanisms!!??
