I am checking out a '95 T-Bird V8... it has 44K miles on it....I have never owned one before but would love to get one...what bothers me is that this one has had 3 owners (the last one 6 months) although this guys claims it is a dream. Any sugestions on what I should look out for in my preliminary check - am also planning a thorough engine diagnostic (which is expensive).

Any thoughts on what to watch out for or make sure is checked? Any advise will be appreciated... thanks in advance.

The tranny is one of the weaker parts on the 94/95 T-Bird, but it can be improved for under $150 in parts, and a few hours of elbow grease.

The 4.6 engine has proven to be very reliable. The EGR tube has a tendency to get plugged up by the 100,000 to 120,000 mile mark.

My T-Bird has 202,500 miles, with original, never rebuilt, engine and tranny.

Good luck with yours, and be sure to visit www.tccoa.com
