'90 SC won't start.

I have a 1990 T-Bird SC that ran great until the last time I turned it off. Now ut cranks but won't start. The fuel pump is operational. The problem is that my regular mechanic says he can't fix it because it is too complicated and he doesn't know any one who can. Somebody must have some ideas. Any help is appreciated.

I had that happen to my 89 SC last year. I actually started it up drove 200 yards and it stalled.... tried and tried to start it from there and no luck.

Had the codes pulled and it ended up being my crankshaft sensor. Dealership sells it for around 80 bucks I beleive it was.
