I just recently bought an 88 TC and it appears that they previous owner let it sit for a while. There seems to be about 10 years of brake dust caked on there. What would be the easiest way to remove that. And also, the glossy finish on the rims has water marks appearing to be stuck there. What can I do to restore the finish on that. Thanks,
Andrew

I bought my TC wheels out of a salvage yard for 40 bucks and ran into the same problem.. It looks like the only way to really those wheels look good at their age now is to have them polished, since the original finish probably cracked and maybe peeled, like they did on mine. Alot of wheel repair companies will do this for 50 - 60 dollars a wheel, making the TC wheels look excellent, much better than that weird texture that came on them from the factory.
