So early last year I replaced the tires on the car with the Coker recommended radial replacements (295s). Noticed that the rear wheels were rubbing on the fender skirts when I turned. Did some research (here, I think) and found out that the 295s are slightly thicker than the stock bias plys, so I ordered a set of 195s for the rear. Still had some rubbing, mostly on the right side when I turn right on curves and some turns. Mostly happens at speeds above 30 mph. Tried adjusting the tabs that hold the fender skirts with minimal success, but still rubbing. Not sure what to do next.

Thanks in advance!

all wire wheels are not the same. some have more offset or different backspacing.

Another possibility is the rear is moving slightly when making a turn. Ubolts may not be tight or the front and/or rear spring bushings may be worn. Or maybe the shackles at the rear of the spring are worn.
