57 T-bird body to frame rubbers

We have just purchased a 1957 T-bird downunder in New Zealand which has had the body fully repaired while off the chassis. It was fitted back onto the chassis before we got it without any shims or body rubbers. I have a full set of new rubber pads with their clips, and the body mount bolt kit, ready to fit between the body and frame. Where do the rubbers go?? I thought they would go between the body and frame in the 18 positions where the bolts go but the hole in the rubber is too small for the body bolts, plus they have spring clips with them. Do these rubber pads mount between the body and frame in positions other than the 18 bolt locations? I canot find a diagram or reference to the position of these rubber pads. The 10 rubber bumpers fit on the frame side rails (3 each side) while the remaining 4 sit on the X frame rails at specific spots. The clips would lock them onto the frame at these locations (not using the bolts you referred to).

Go online to "Hill's Thunderbird Center" and download their online catalogue (PDF format). On page 39 you'll see the Frame and Suspension Parts, particularly part # 5008-K. Directly above the photo is a line drawing giving the exact location and measurements of the 10 rubber discs.

Then from under the TBird you should be able to locate those holes in the frame where they go specifically. Good Luck!
