Chuck Thompson from Lakeland and I met for lunch yesterday at the SeaHag Restaurant at the water's edge in St. Pete Beach, FL for a tasty Haddock sandwhich. Chuck's ride is the light blue 1979 Bird with 302, white vinyl top; he uses some special wheels and raised white letter tires; his next task is to get it painted; mine is the factory-look chamois glow 1979 Bird, my daily driver, with well over 300,000 miles on the 302. Chuck and his wife Lou are great folks. We share a love for the 77-79 Birds.
