First Post! I own West Coast Classic Cougar and wanted to put a shout out to you folks out there who may have parts lying around. We buy broken, incomplete 67-79 tilt columns and related parts . We use them to rebuild customer columns, any FoMoCo tilt. Often guys will send a column in for rebuild and send with it a "parts column" to defray the cost. Here is a video to show a little more about what we do. When you call ask for Don, 503-463-1130

Very enlightening videos. Even though I have a low mileage 69 Bird, I'll probably want to fix my tilt pin before it causes problems. Thanks :yesnod

Yes, if ever you have a reason to remove your steering wheel on your 67-69 it is a no brainer to do the upgrade while you are there. I have seen cars with well under 100k miles where the pins have worked their way out to a point where damage is occurring, left unchecked your inner knuckle will implode, not an easy fix! 70-71 cars have the same problem but it is not nearly as easy to do the upgrade, most 70-71 owners remove their column and send them to us for upgrade / repair. 1972 up owners will rarely if ever see the pins work out as Ford finally swedged them in place by then.
