I'm trying to find some info about a car that never made it to production in '64 called the Fordor. From what I have gleamed in my searches is that it was most likely going to be a T-Bird based on previous and following model years.

First a little background before I get into my specific question. My grandfather, Rodger A. Ketchman, was an Executive Engineer with the Materials, Testing, and Build Opperations office in Dearborn back in the 60's and 70's. He kept many 1/4 sized models that he was a part of. One of these was a 1964 Ford Fordor Panel Front Door Inside 1/4 size die of wood made by the Ford Inner Panel computer program.

I'm trying to find out more information on exactly what it was he was working on. It's part of the family history that I am trying to get a better picture of.

Any info would be appreciated.

Chris

Fordor

Fordor was the term dreamed up by marketing to describe, in print the full size Ford four-door car. The term "Fordor" was used alongside "Tudor"(two door) and simply designated the number of doors on the car.
