    61 Front Apron Assembly

Bulletbird I'm assuming your refering to the fact that a 61 and 62 front clip unbolts at the firewall where as 63's have the front clip welded on . Personnaly unless your front clip is really badly rusted I wouldn't touch it . If it's mounted on a rotisserie it should be able to be cleanned down...

    New here, and some questions

That is an interested breed to say the least . The original older 1980's photo shows a 61 grill in the car , its almost as if somebody tried to refine a 61 with some of the last years(63's) features. Car has a 63 interior including dash and door panels with a leather interior, as previously...

    Front End "Clonk"

Ken the normal way of checking the front end is lifting your front end up (suspended ) and use a steel bar under the tire and lever it up with someone observing it for looseness in front end parts . Hopefully this might reveal your culprit . Ian

    1964 Door Trim Panel Replacement

Other than reproduction door panels, your only other option would be to send your door panels to a place like Just Dashes in California. They do Concours restoration on interior parts , but also charge accordingly. Unless you can find an upolstery shop that can do the work ???? I've seen a few...

    Broken primary hood release cable

If you look through the grill top centre ,there is a bar that runs across which connects to the two hood locks to either side . Turn that bar to release the hood locks . I know on a 63 the bar is pulled outward I'm not sure on the 61 and 62 's with cable release . Trial and error . P/S I know...

As for the wheels all...

differences between a convertible and roadster?

True original Kelsey Hayes Wires will not clear the fender skirts, if you research you will find it was not an option on the sports roadster . Having said that newer production wire wheels are made with the centers narrowed down so that the wires can clear the skirts . I for one like this but a...
