Can anyone give me the wheel alignment specs for a 65 Tbird convertible? Also, if I decide to switch from biased belted to radials, will this affect the original camber specs?

Replacing the brake booster on a 65

Boy, you weren't kidding about taking the seat out. Makes things at least doable with enough patience vs. trying it with the seat in...... thx

Replacing the brake booster on a 65

I would like to hear any tricks of the trade for getting the four nuts off and back on again under the dash. I can just barely get a wrench on some of the nuts and even if I can get them all off, I can't imagine how to get them stated again back on the threads so that I can tighten them...

    Gas Guage Problem

Thanks Ken......... the oil guage has always read low, but the temp guage seems about right........... my voltmeter does fly back and forth a lot, so maybe the constant voltage thingy is to blame. For now I am living with it, but one of these days I will take you up and get one of the solid...

It's the smaller one Harley.......... I think I have finally gotten it running. I changed out the power valve and that stopped the gas from dripping into the carb and now it seems to be doing fine. I am not too optimistic though since when the last guy rebuilt it, it was running great too and...

    Why is it flooding???

I recently had my carb rebuilt on my 65 convertible. It has the original 4150 Autolite carb. It ran great for a while and then started to flood and not restart when I stopped at a light. When I look inside the carb, it apprears that the gas is just running down into the bowls (secondary for...

That little BB looking steel ball

Where can I get a new ball that goes into the accelerator pump on a carb rebuild? Mine is all rusted and probably sticking and I think that is causing my flooding problem.........

Harley, where can I get the little BB looking steel balls that go into the accelerator pump and I think one other place when I rebuild the carb? I read somewhere that if that ball sticks it will cause a flooding problem which is what I have now...........

    Carb problem....... Again

Oh another clue. Today even though the gas was still dripping I got the engine to start. Once it started, the gas started spraying correctly from the jets and the engine was running fine again. Obviously this was not divine intervention, and I still need to fix the underlying problem or it will...

    Carb problem....... Again

I just had my carb rebuilt. Sometimes it runs flawlessly and then suddenly it dies at a light and floods out. Yesterday I had to have it towed home. When I look down into the primary bowls, I see the gas dripping into the engine, not spraying from the jets as it should. From what I read, this...

Changing the window motor on a 65 Tbird

Thanks Bob Great info. I guessed right about the four bolts, but I would have missed removing the window track.......... Thanks for your prompt response. I have my work cut out for me on the weekend now.............

Changing the window motor on a 65 Tbird

I need to replace the passenger side, front window motor. I assume I will need to remove the glass, which I know how to do and then remove the entire regulator assembly with the motor attached in order to get to the motor to remove it and replace it. Is this correct? If so, how exactly, once...

    Gas Guage Problem

My gas gauge goes to full when I fill up, but when it shows empty, it only takes about 10 gallons to fill up. This tells me the gas guage is showing about half what is really in the tank. Any suggestions on how to fix this short of replacing the sending unit?

    65 Conv Top Problem

Regarding my post from yesterday......... Can someone tell me how to remove the top up/down rocker switch in the console so I can check that first to see if I am getting power at that point? Can I just pop it out with a screwdriver, or do I have to remove the black trim from the console part...
