in the overdrive section ogf the transmission they replaced rings, slider, o/d planetary gear and o/d sun gear, 2 bearings, o/d ring gear and seal. I will be putting this all back together over the next few weeks and will let you know how it all works out.

To follow up on my problem. I removed the transmission and found a reputable shop that woul look at it. They found that the overdrive unit was broken and they had to replace some gears. They also went through the entire tranny at this time and replaced all gaskets and seals. Should be able to...

The only addition I have is that the hole in the base of the jack stand should be in the middle. I believe in passenger cars they are offset. Not sure but you can check CTCI to be sure.

i was told by a ctci judge at carlisle last year that the fan was chromed but the process weakened the blades.
