'56 Fan Blades (Chromed?)

Hi This is my 2nd question posted, as I say, I am new to the Forum and to the Thunderbird. Bought mine last summer and enjoyed driving it all summer and fall, but now that we have cold winter weather here in Illinois; I have pulled the engine to do some repairs and to paint the engine compartment (for some reason, somebody painted it black).
I want put it back as close as possible to original.

I read an earlier post asking about the Dress Up Kit. Reply said,Aluminum Rocker Arm Covers, Oil Cap and Air Breather Cover were chromed.
One of my reference book, "Thunderbird by Ray Miller" says that the Dress Up Kit also includes the Fan Blades being chromed.
Is this correct?
I hope so, because I've already sent my blades off to be chromed.

i was told by a ctci judge at carlisle last year that the fan was chromed but the process weakened the blades.
