My power steering is fine when driving but when stopped or barely moving the car won't turn at all. What is the procedure for testing the power steering system?

just found some info on the tbird ranch regarding pcv valves. apparently in 62 all cars in california pad the pcv standard. it wasnt until later in 62 that the pcv became standard. mine is from early-mid 62 and wasnt a california car. so now we know.:cheers

emissions ok, its vin says 62. mine was not very early off the line, somewhere around 20,000th and they made around 68,000 hardtops that year. the intake plate has a stud on the back that is not drilled out so that tells me 61. at this point i plan on going with the 61 style "puke tube". if...

emissions its titled as a 62, has the 62 fins on the quarters but the tube at the back of the engine is way to big to be a pcv. it may be an early 62 that got a 61 engine, i guess. are there any other edentifiers that may indicate a 61 or 62 car?

ok, this thing is the oldest car iv ever owned. theres an oil filler cap on the pass. front of the motor. what does the tube on the back of the motor go to? theres no holes in the air cleaner for it and i dont think its another oil filler hole. does it take a giant pcv valve?
