    Wheels ???

spare tire option John, I've got a stock 15" steel wheel that I could use now but the reason I was saying the Murano wheel might be a good choice for a spare is because it's suppposed to be thinner than the stock wheel and the '55 t-bird trunk is very shallow and the spare lies flat in the...

    newbie looking for torqthrust specs

Hi Bubba, I don't have Torque Thrust but I did put American Racing Salt Flat Specials on my little bird a couple yrs ago. If your car is driveable condition you could take it to some place like Discount tire (that's where I got mine) and they will do all the measuring for you for the right...

    What's my '64 convertible worth?

Rusherific, I agree with Harley, sounds like it needs alot of work, but I wouldn't even put a guesstimate on the value of the car without seeing pictures. Ebay may be your best bet, just be honest and put up lots of pictures. Who knows, you may find someone who loves it and is willing to invest...

    Engine Stalls over speed bumps

John, did you ever get this problem resolved? I've had the same situation with my T-bird, I'm running the old Holley t-pot carb's on a 2-4 intake, I think the problem In my situation is the floats bouncing around, goes lean then rich. It happens on speed bumps and dips like yours. Right now...

    Am I Welcome Here?

I think it looks great, the only thing I don't understand about the kit manufacturer is why didn't they have some type of chrome molding to go around the windshield? well who's going to notice when it's going down the road, they'll probably be looking at the grin you're wearing instead !

    Frame

I'm running '55 tags on my bird. Something you guys might not know, I don't know about other states but here in TX if you can find dealer plates to run on your vintage car they were only issued as singles and if your state requires front and back tag, you can legally run with one tag with these.

    Wheels ???

You might give this a try, I've heard the Nissan Murano spare tire/wheels is a large diameter/ narrow aluminum wheel that really saves space in the trunk (and looks good too) and is still big enough to fit with big disc brakes. Space is at a premium in my 55 T-bird and this combo will supposedly...
