    HeaterCore replacement, 87 turbo

    the dash must be pulled to remove the heater core, when I did mine it took me about 4 hours. its not as bad as everyone says it is. there is a write up on www.coolcats.net about the heatercore swap.

    Head Gasket Problem

    remember to use new head bolts and run a tap down the head bolt holes to clean the treads, also have your heads resurfaced while they are off good luck.

    well they would be for my cougar lol I havent been fortunate enough to find a bird in good enough shape. every day I drive past a 79 town landau though I know I can get it cheap but I have nowhere to put it.

    try some belt dressing or some paint on the pulley where the belt rides. or maybe they need to be alittle tighter. just some things to try let us know.
